SIMPLY BY JIMMY PRODUCTS
The SBJ product range is starting initially with just a few simple items, with plans to gradually increase the collection as the brand develops.
All products are designed by myself and handmade in the UK by independent craftsmen or small artisanal businesses.
SBJ CLAY COOKING POT
I have teamed up with Alan and Billy at their studio in Kent and together we have designed the perfect shape and size clay cooking pot for your SBJ recipes. Each pot is hand thrown and the whole process from start to finish (including the firing) takes around three weeks.
SBJ LINENS
Our linen items are crafted from the best 100% washed linen by Sarah and Etienne in their independent workshops in Kent.
Initially available in three shades: grey, concrete and natural, we plan to expand the palette of colours in the future.
The long bib style apron has an adjustable neck strap, a central pocket and handy tea towel holder loop and a shorter waist tied apron also features a pocket and tea towel holder loop.
Also available in the linen range are soft linen lined bread baskets using antique French fabrics which have been sourced over the last 20 years of living in France; as well as perfect pan holder squares to help you handle a hot clay pot and tea towels in both grey and natural to match the aprons.
HERBY SEA SALT FROM GUERANDE, FRANCE
This amazing sea salt is produced for Simply by Jimmy by François Durand coming directly from his salt marshes in Guerande in the south of Brittany. This gros sel or coarse sea salt as it’s commonly know in the UK is mixed with basil, thyme, tarragon, pepper, pink pepper corns and herbs de Provence and is quite honestly the best sea salt I have ever tasted. Add a sprinkling to any dish and it will be quite transformed.
SBJ WOODEN BOARDS
Handmade out of seasoned French oak, every serving board features its own unique wood grain pattern. These boards make a great gift and the ideal serving solution for an array of antipasti and the smaller boards are ideal for chopping garlic or of course slicing lemons for gin and tonic!
