If you have a food blender or mixer of some type you can make hummus, it really is as easy as, throw it in and turn it on. Much nicer than buying it and you can add various flavours like roasted peppers, different herbs or cumin like I have in this recipe.
Ingredients
- 1 large tin of chickpeas
- 1 crushed clove of garlic
- juice of half a lemon
- 1 tbsp of tahini or 50ml sesame oil
- 100 ml olive oil
- 1 tsp ground cumin
- Salt and pepper
